Closing Shift by Cameron D Garriepy

Closing ShiftOn a cold, dark night, in a quiet coffee shop, Elli works her shift wiping tables and making cappuccinos. When an intense stranger blows in on a blustery breeze and shows her a different vision of herself, the trajectory of her life is dramatically changed.
Closing Shift is a work of short fiction.

I really enjoyed this little short story; such a simple thing; a stolen moment at the end of a shift. The story left me hoping this couple experiences more than a one-nighter between two lonely people ~ it is too bad that she ran away.
